Day 5
Time to saddle up and depart from Pontal do Peba, heading inland away from the shore. At Foz, a riverside paradise, we relish a refreshing swim with the horses, indulging in fresh coconut drinks and snacks. Leaving our equine companions behind, we board a boat to cruise the mighty river, finally docking for a riverside lunch featuring tasty regional seafood. As the day winds down, we'll arrive at the colonial town of Penedo by late afternoon for an overnight stay at the Hotel, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
Day 9
A leisurely start of the day with no rush to rise. Following a delightful breakfast, we embark on a relaxed stroll through Penedo's historical center, marvelling at its magnificent baroque-style churches, ancient residences, theatres, convents, and other architectural wonders. For lunch, a traditional riverside restaurant awaits, offering picturesque views. Post-lunch, our journey shifts towards Maceió. This concludes the itinerary, inclusive of breakfast and lunch.

The Ride
Brazil's charm lies in its tropical climate and stunning natural landscapes. However, when it comes to beaches, the spotlight shines on the northeastern region. This is precisely where we will lead you — far to the Northeastern State of Alagoas, a haven where you'll gallop across unspoiled, expansive beaches. From the outset, the journey, known as The Coconut Trail Ride, unveils its essence. Alagoas stands as the country's foremost coconut producer - you'll savor freshly extracted coconut water while exploring some of the most breathtaking tropical landscapes you've ever encountered.
The Rider
You should be a competent rider, at ease at all paces, capable of riding confidently over varying terrain. The rides are usually short but fast. On average you will be riding about 4 hours a day, mostly during the mornings. We'll arrive at our charming accommodation places usually in the early afternoon. Here, a warm welcome awaits, complete with the national drink—a refreshing Caipirinha—to greet you.
The Horses
You will be riding the most authentic Brazilian breed - the notorious Mangalarga Marchador horses. They are great forward going horses with a very comfortable pace. They are used to the tropical climate, the beach and the water and are just the most fun horses you can imagine.
