Day 1: July 3, 2025
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar early in the morning, where your driver will greet you and take you to the serene “Torlogt” yurt camp, just an hour from the airport. Once there, you can settle into your yurt, enjoy a refreshing shower, and relax over a delicious lunch. The afternoon is yours to unwind before meeting your coach or horseman for an introduction to the program.
Day 2: July 4, 2025 After breakfast, the training begins with an emphasis on safety. You'll learn the basics of Mongolian horse riding, including accident prevention and handling techniques. The first lesson focuses on essential skills such as mounting, sitting correctly in the saddle, positioning your feet in the stirrups, and holding the reins confidently. These foundational steps will ensure you're securely positioned before progressing further.
Day 3: July 5, 2025 The second day of training is tailored to your individual skill level and confidence. Depending on your progress, the lessons may include trotting and maneuvering techniques. The focus remains on building skills at your own pace to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, with plenty of guidance from your experienced instructor.
Day 4: July 6, 2025 Your final day of training involves consolidating your skills with additional practice in and around the yurt camp. You'll enjoy more hands-on riding time, gaining the confidence to handle a Mongolian horse independently as you prepare for the upcoming adventure into the wild.
Day 5: July 7, 2025 Your riding tour begins as you set off into the stunning Mongolian countryside. The full-day ride takes you across picturesque landscapes while the ground team supports you with equipment, tents, and meals. You’ll enjoy lunch along the route before arriving at a campsite where you can relax, share stories, and revel in the peaceful wilderness.
Day 6: July 8, 2025 On this second day of the tour, you’ll deepen your riding experience by practicing trotting and galloping under the guidance of your horseman. The journey takes you to a new campsite, offering fresh views and another evening to unwind in the tranquil Mongolian outdoors.
Day 7: July 9, 2025 Another full day on horseback awaits as you explore more of Mongolia’s wild landscapes. Each ride brings new sights and experiences, immersing you in the beauty and vastness of the land. At the end of the day, you’ll reach a campsite for one last night in the wilderness.
Day 8: July 10, 2025 The final leg of the riding tour is a half-day ride through the countryside before returning to the city. After lunch, enjoy some shopping and a cultural performance that showcases Mongolia’s rich traditions. The day concludes with a restful night in a city hotel, preparing you for the excitement of the Naadam Festival.
Day 9: July 11, 2025 The Naadam Festival begins with a visit to the stadium, where you’ll witness thrilling wrestling and archery competitions. This vibrant celebration of Mongolian heritage and nomadic culture is an unforgettable experience. After a full day of festivities, return to your hotel to relax and reflect on the day.
Day 10: July 12, 2025 The second day of the festival takes you to KHUI 7 HUDAG, where you’ll enjoy the exhilarating spectacle of horse racing. A picnic breakfast amidst the action adds to the charm of the day. Following the races, return to your hotel to unwind and prepare for departure.
Day 11: July 13, 2025 With your adventure complete, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your journey home, leaving with cherished memories of Mongolia’s horses, landscapes, and culture.

How We Start The first 3 days focus on lessons and practice, guided by experienced horsemen who will teach you to ride Mongolian horses safely and confidently. Beginners start with the basics—mounting, saddle position, stirrups, and reins—ensuring proper technique and safety. Questions and feedback are always welcome to enhance your learning experience.
