Discover one of the most beautiful regions in Turkey from the back of a horse.
Ride through the iconic places of Cappadocia, but also - we cannot miss showing you the hidden gems and less-known villages of this historic place. We ride to different towns every day, staying in traditional guest houses/hotels and tasting delicious homemade specialities cooked by the locals. The ride allows for some fast gallos, long trots and beatiful sunset canters.

On this ride you will stay in comfortable guest houses and hotels. All toiletries and bed accessories are provided.
*Usually we arrive on Sunday – if you want to explore Cappadocia couple of days before the ride, you are free to do so. A shuttle from Kayseri Airport will bring you to your hotel for your first night in Göreme.
Day 1
After breakfast, the hosts will pick you up and take you to the ranch where you will meet the horses. Following a basic riding instruction, we will leave for the valleys, exploring the history of the incredible fairy chimneys. After a short break, we will go to the village of Cavusin for lunch in a local restaurant. Food is so delicious here! In the afternoon we will go straight towards Uchisar. Be ready to enjoy a beautiful and long canter. We will cross orchard and vineyard fields before reaching Pigeons Valley and Green Valley. From there we return to the ranch. Dinner and night in a hotel, in Goreme.
Day 2
Today, we will reach the Village of Ortahisar. The local guide will show you some interesting historical places on the way. We cross the Balkan Valley with its beautiful cave formations before stopping for lunch in Ibrahimpasa Village. In the afternoon we arrive at Gomeda Valley where we are going to have another good opportunity for long canters. The ride passes through some hidden churches and breathtaking views of the whole valley. The day ends in Mustafapasa Village where we stay in a local guest house for the night.
Day 3
We saddle our horses early in the morning and head towards Uzengi Valley – the hidden wonder of the region. The dovecotes of Uzengi Valley had become world famous. You will learn more about their mysterious history from your local guide while passing through this interesting human-made pigeonholes with your horses. We then continue galloping through Gumuslu Valley and stop in Bahceli Village. We break for lunch here. In the afternoon, we will visit Golgoli - the ghost village. Then we return back to Mustafapasa village for the night.
Day 4
We leave Mustafapasa Village and ride to the scenic landscapes of Damsa Lake. We pass through Cemil Village to admire the surviving frescoes of the town’s church and we arrive at Keslik Monastery for lunch. In the afternoon we canter through a tinted red plateau with a beautiful panoramic view. The ride ends in Uzengi Valley.
Day 5
The last part of the ride goes from Uzengi Valley all the way to Aktepe (the top of Göreme). We will ride pass the Red Valley and Pancarlik, reaching Cavusin Village and finally cantering on the top of the hills of Göreme with a magnificent view of the whole Love Valley beyond us. We will ride back to the ranch. Transfer back to the hotel in Göreme.

The Ride
We ride in one of the most beautiful regions in Turkey – the valley of Cappadocia. Despite becoming quite a popular and touristy place in recent years, exploring these incredible rocky formations from the back of a horse can be a completely different experience. You will have the chance to discover the hidden gems of Cappadocia, surrounded by wild nature and less-
known historical villages. You will learn the history of this place directly from the locals, and you will share their traditional way of living. The intensity of the ride will be determined by the riding level of the whole group. Nevertheless, you will have plenty of opportunities to admire the speed, power and amazing character of the Arab horse.
The Rider
You have to have experience in horse riding and be fit enough to enjoy and take advantage of this ride. You should be a competent rider, at ease at all paces, capable of riding confidently over varying terrain for several hours at a stretch. It is not essential to be a skilled horseman; both good riders and less experienced riders will find horses suited to their abilities and character. We ride in English saddles and in a bit.
The Horses
The horse breed on this adventure will be mostly Arab and Anatolian horses. They have been carefully selected for their friendly character and for their ability to accommodate guests of all skill levels. All horse are well-trained and know the route. They are forward going yet responsive. Every rider will be matched with a suitable horse according to his/hers abilities and experience.
